Seminary Adopt-A-Student

One of the important tasks we have as a congregation is to support the formation of future pastors for service in God's kingdom so that the Gospel might continue to spread and lives be changed by what Jesus has done through his death and resurrection.  The way we do this here at Hope is to provide financial support to students currently attending one of our two seminaries:  Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, and Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

Learn about the students we are currently supporting below and keep them in your prayers!

Seminarian Kenny Klaehn

Kenny is a former member of our family here at Hope.  After Kenny and his wife Jeannette moved from Melbourne back to Ft. Wayne, Indiana in the fall of 2020, Kenny felt the Lord calling him to serve as a Pastor.  After much prayer and deliberation, Kenny applied and enrolled in classes at Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne. Please continue to keep Kenny and Jeannette in your prayers as he studies to be a pastor!

Seminarian Davin Alberson

Davin, his wife Christina, and daughter Mahli moved from Searcy, Arkansas to St. Louis where Davin began classes at Concordia Seminary in the fall of 2021.  This is our second year of supporting Davin and his family as he continues to study to be a pastor.   Please continue to keep Davin, Christina, and Mali in your prayers as the 2022 academic year gets under way!
